So, I bought the DJI Mini SE.
Now what?
I have been an avid fan of watching drone reviews and range test videos on YouTube for a while. I love the idea of freedom a drone gives, to be able to fly, even if it is just on the screen of my iPhone. When I first read about the new low cost DJI Mini SE, I was in. The drone is high quality and relatively inexpensive. Of course there are some trade-offs such as no 4k video, or the older version of the DJI controller (This is the Mini controller, not the Mini 2). You do get a stronger housing than the original Mini, as well as the newer style propellers.
Brief Review
I haven’t had the DJI Mini SE very long, nor am I well-experienced, but occasionally those are the reviews I want to read. 😁
Unboxing
Unboxing the DJI Mini SE was great. Everything came very well packaged, all the parts and pieces fit neatly into their slots. The base model that I ordered came with the drone, the controller, a multitude of cables, a battery, and some instruction booklets. The biggest issue I had in the unboxing was removing the tabs that keep the propellers in place, I kept thinking “I’m going to break this”, but they did tear away and all was well.
